Getting Back in the Swing of Things...

Well, summer is ending and we are getting back into the regular fall schedule. BOTH girls started MDO last week (I included pictures) and it is going well. Savannah is having a hard time adjusting to her new teachers, but it is getting better. Madison loves it! Nothing really new here to report... Savannah has been sick with infected ears- YUCK! I can feel summer winding down and it makes me sad, kinda like that "Sunday Night Feelin." Fall is always nice, but so much hustle and bustle. We have 3 September birthdays, then Halloween, then Thanksgiving, the Christmas! Thinking about all of the at stresses me out! Anyway, enjoy your last days of summer- I know we will!

BYE BYE Miss. Lynn

It has been a while since I posted. But, I have to post to say goodbye to our precious Miss. Lynn. She is going back home to go back to school and while we know this is the best for her, we will miss her more than she will know!!! Without having family here to help us with the babies she has truly gotten me through this past year. I don't know what I will do without her. I know we will keep in touch, but our lives will not be the same without her smiling face! THANK YOU Miss. Lynn! We love you-

Does anyone else HATE fireworks in your backyard?

Happy 4th of July weekend! I have posted pics from various events this week. It was a nice weekend. But, here's the thing...I hate fireworks. Not like fireworks where you go to the big show and lay out a blanket and watch from afar. I mean the kind that are going off one by one in your backyard. I am always just waiting for someone's something to get blown off! Plus, it is so loud and makes a huge mess. I got so lucky this year b/c we were at home and they can't be shot in our neighborhood- thank the Lord! I hate being the party pooper!

Wonderful Weekend

Not the most creative title, but it fits perfectly. With our busy lives and Shawn's job we don't get a lot of weekend "family time". But this weeked Shawn was off, there were no tournaments, no plans and we were able to just "be". It was bliss! We let the girls play in their frog pool, which Madison did not like because the water was cold, fresh from the hose. We cooked out steaks, we did some stuff around the house that needed to be done- it was nice! The only glich was that Savannah broke out in these crazy whelps on her legs. She has done it for the past three days after her nap. She is taking Benadryl for relief. They don't seem to bother her, but they look terrible!!! I was going to post a picture, but that would have involved posting a picture of her butt, and I thought that was a little tacky. I hate to end this and go to bed because that means our perfect weekend is over. As Kelli and I would say "I have the Sunday Night Feelin'" It feels yucky!!!!

Addicted?

Well, here is my second post. No new pictures yet. I will have some before the weekend is over, though. So, I am hearing that this will be addicting. Hummm, we'll see. Savannah broke out with these crazy hives today. Hopefully, they'll be better tomorrow. I am going to get Lynn (our babysitter) to come over and show me all the ropes with this thing! I'll post new pics soon!

Is this for real?

I am laughing at myself as I type this...I am TOTALLY new to the blog world. I still don't really "get it", but my sweet babysitter set this up for our family as a way to keep in touch with friends and family (I think mostly for her since she is moving away!!). Anyway, I have to be upfront and give her ALL the credit for making this page- GO LYNN! I really don't know what to say or when I'll post again. I guess when I take some new pictures I'll add them in. With two babies under the age of two and trying to run my own business I don't think I'll be "blogging" all that much. But I thought I had better make an attempt at it since Lynn went to all the trouble to set it up for us!
